PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary device for packaging, which makes a packaging operation efficient by comparatively smoothly pulling a packaging bag together with packed items while inverting the packaging bag back to front, the auxiliary device including a support base and a packaging-bag hold frame having an opening. SOLUTION: The vertical cross-section of the packaging-bag hold frame includes an almost semicircular shape at its edge on the side where the items to be put in. The top of the almost semicircular shape is offset further inside the opening of the hold frame than to the gravity center of the cross-section. In addition, the cross-section also includes an almost semicircular shape at its edge on the side where the items are to be ejected.
