PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver excellently maintaining signal quality of a received signal. SOLUTION: A reception input level monitor section 13 detects a signal level of a digital broadcast signal received by a reception antenna 111 via a radome 112, a C/N monitor section 14 detects a C/N ratio of the digital broadcast signal, and a control section 15 controls the radome 112 on the basis of results of the detection so as not to be affected by up-fading or attenuation fading, thereby revising a free space loss.
