PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a user interface having a high degree of freedom and abundant powers of expression in a high capacity recorded medium. SOLUTION: A flag is provided which indicates whether or not a play item has a multiangle structure reproducible at a plurality of angles. Also, a flag indicating whether or not it is an angle switchable point is provided at the head of a decode unit. Thus, in a seamless multiangle structure, the angle can be switched without increasing the number of interleave units. In a non-seamless multiangle structure, discontinuity of reproduction is eliminated when getting out of a multiangle by making a specified region on the tail side of each angle impossible to switch the angle using this flag. Also, a sub-play item only of audio may be employed as BGM by providing a flag indicating whether or not the sub-play item can be reproduced asynchronously with a main path.
