PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fax transmission method capable of instructing only a cover page to be transmitted by fax from an information processing apparatus to a composite apparatus, its program, and an information processing apparatus. SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus 10 incorporates a fax driver 12 and an application software 13 for the document creation. The fax driver 12 is started during the fax transmission, and controls a composite apparatus 20 via LAN2 for fax transmission. Starting of the fax driver 12 opens a setup window, on which another window can be opened for transmission sheet settings. When a fax transmission of only a transmission sheet is specified on this window, a transmission sheet is only transmitted from the composite apparatus 20. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
