<p>A method and apparatus for transmitting InBandLatencylnfo block in a wireless communication system characterized in generating an InBandLatencylnfo block comprising a 1 bit ContinuationBit field, a 2 bit BlockFormat field, wherein the BlockFormat field indicates a RL latency level block by setting the format indicator bits to '11' , a 3 bit LatencyLevel field, wherein the LatencyLevel field indicates the largest latency of any packet in the specified QoS flow not including the bits sent in the same medium access control (MAC) packet as the RLInBandBits and latency is specified in the number of reverse link physical layer (RL-PHY) frames for which the packet has been waiting at the time the RLInbandBit packet starts transmission and a 2 bit QoS field, wherein the QoS field specifies the QoS flow to which the latency corresponds and transmitting the InBandLatencylnfo block over a communication link.</p> |
