PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member for regulating an interval between plate members which can improve workability by securing a degree of freedom in the installation of various types of members without making them protrude from a template, and securing a space between a fixing-side template and a pup-up plate or between the templates. SOLUTION: This member 20 for regulating the interval between the plate members comprises: a fixing-side mounting plate 1; the pup-up plate 4; the fixing-side template 2 and a movable-side template 3 which are provided in such a manner as to abut on the fixing-side mounting plate 1 via the pup-up plate 4; and a mold 5 which is provided in a joint between the templates 2 and 3. The member 20 is laid between the template 2 and the pup-up plate 4 of a pin gate-type mold for molding a resin molding 15 by infilling a molten resin into the mold 5 from a gate end through a sprue 6 and a runner gate 8, and/or between the templates 2 and 3. The member 20 is provided with a first member 21 the one end of which is pivotally attached to the pup-up plate 4, a second member 22 the one end of which is pivotally attached to the other end of the first member 21, and a notch 25 which is detachably engaged with the template 2 formed at the other end of the second member.
