PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an awning machine with electric power-saving enhancing an operability and a workability. SOLUTION: The awning machine is provided with a processing drum 2 for agitating/removing a branch from a branch grain and a feeding apparatus 5 for feeding a feed rough rice to the processing drum 2, and an agitation rod (stirring apparatus) 21 is provided in the feeding apparatus 5. In addition, detection sensors (detection means) 22, 23 for detecting at least two of feed rough rices and a control part (control means) 24 for controlling operation of the agitation rod from information obtained by the detection sensors 22, 23 are provided at an upper part and a lower part in the feeding apparatus 5. Only when the detection sensor 22 provided at the upper part detects the feed rough rice existing in the feeding apparatus 5 and the detection sensor 23 provided at the lower part does not perform detection, the agitation rod 21 is operated.
