An axial type BLDC motor having a single air gap is provided to reduce the vibration and noise of a rotor yoke by forming a supporting protrusion which wraps a rotation shaft coupled to the rotor yoke. An axial type BLDC motor having a single air gap includes a casing(10), a rotor(20), a stator(30), and a rotation shaft(40). The rotor(20) is rotatably installed inside the casing(10). The rotor(20) has a rotor yoke with an uneven part and a plurality of permanent magnets which are arrayed in a circumferential direction. The stator(30) has a coil which is separated from the permanent magnet by the length of the air gap. The rotation shaft(40) is coupled to a coupling unit of the rotor(20), and is integrally rotated with the rotor(20). The uneven part has a first uneven part of a circular shape which is separated from a center of the rotor(20), and a plurality of second uneven parts which are radially extended from the first uneven part to the direction of the permanent magnet.
