PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a line head printer apparatus which can achieve stable high-speed printing by a simple apparatus configuration. SOLUTION: In the image formation apparatus which forms an ink image at a desired image printing position on a recording paper P by simultaneously controlling a plurality of ink ejecting means 1 driven on demand, and deflecting electric field applying means 12 and 13 that electrically deflect a course of charged ink liquid droplets ejected from the ink ejecting means 1, detection of a charge amount of the ink liquid droplets and detection of non ejection are served by one detecting means 16. Not only control of the deflecting electric field applying means 12 and 13, but also detection of non ejection are carried out according to a charging state of the detected ink liquid droplets.
