PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair fixing device which safely and reliably fixes a wheelchair to a floor with a simple operation and is stable without rocking forward/backward even when a vehicle is vibrated. SOLUTION: The wheelchair fixing device which is fixed onto the rear floor 32 of an automobile for mounting the wheelchair includes: a first engagement member 30 to be engaged with the wheelchair 1 so as to mechanically restrict the forward/backward and upward movement of the wheelchair; and a second engagement member 31 for fixing one end 33 of a connection material 37 to the floor 32 and connecting the other end to a tension means 34. Consequently, the wheelchair in the vehicle is stabilized and fixed even with the vibration of the automobile for mounting the wheelchair. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
