PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which can take a countermeasure against an EMI of a first and second housings and can move the second housing to the first housing. SOLUTION: The connector is composed of a plug 2 which is provided movable against a socket 1 and can be locked with the socket 1, a plurality of socket terminals 30 which are elastically deformed according to a movement of the plug 2, a first socket side shielding member 40 covering a peripheral face in a widthwise direction of the socket 1, a plurality of plug terminals which contact with each of socket terminals when the plug 2 is locked with socket 1, a plug side shielding member 90 covering a peripheral face in a widthwise direction of the plug 2 and a first and second shield conducting parts 64, 69 which are elastically deformed according to a movement of the plug 2. The plug 2 can be moved against the socket 1 and since an EMI countermeasure can be taken, an effect from an electromagnetic wave can be reduced certainly. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
