PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover unit for liquid crystal display device which makes the structure of the cover unit for liquid crystal display device a structure capable of attaching an LCD module member, an interface circuit part and a power source circuit part without using a hinge or a screw by devising shapes of a front cover and a rear cover, and can reduce a manufacturing cost by reducing the number of components of the liquid crystal display device and the number of assembling processes. SOLUTION: In the cover unit for liquid crystal display device having the rear cover and the front cover, such a structure that a recessed part is disposed back to back respectively for the liquid crystal screen side and the back side such that a cross-sectional shape constitutes an H shape on a central part of the rear cover, the LCD module member can be stacked on the recessed part of the liquid crystal screen side, and the power source circuit part and an inverter interface circuit part can be adhered on the recessed part on the back side of the screen is prepared, wherein foot parts capable of connecting the rear cover to the front cover are disposed on the rear cover and the front cover.
