PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel which is prevented from decreasing in yield due to cross-seal finishing error due device variance, by making it possible to visually confirm whether a cross-sealing agent is present, its amount, and a shift, after the liquid crystal display panel is assembled. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display panel is configured, such that slits are made in a cross pad where the cross sealing agent is formed to visually confirm whether there is the cross seal, and the amount and shift thereof from a glass surface side of a TFT substrate without forming a confirmation window by removing a metal film, and a display part outer periphery of the liquid crystal display panel is shielded from light due to confirmation window not being provided to a black matrix formed on a counter substrate side.
