PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite filter for plasma display, wherein the efficiency of production is made excellent by reducing the number of lamination processes, flexibility is excellent as the composite filter and the material cost is reduced, because of smaller number of lamination, high durability is ensured to hardly cause the change of a spectroscopic characteristic and it is made of a laminated body of an electromagnetic wave shielding sheet and an optical filter, and to provide a manufacturing method of the composite filter for plasma display. SOLUTION: The sheet-like composite filter for plasma display is a composite filter for being directly stuck to the glass plate disposed on a front surface of a plasma display panel, and comprises: the optical filter 10 having at least one layer of optical functional layer on one side surface of a first transparent resin base sheet 11 (A); a near infrared ray absorption layer 20 including specified composite tungsten oxide fine particles and a resin (B); the electromagnetic wave shielding sheet 30 provided with a conductive mesh layer 34 on one side surface of a second transparent resin base sheet 31 (C); and an adhesive layer 40 (D), in the order.
