摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To derive installation depression angle of an imaging means in a relatively simply manner, in a calibration method for deriving the installation depression angle of the imaging means or, for example, an in-vehicle camera. SOLUTION: The calibration method contains each of a plurality of targets (111, 112, 121, and 122), arranged on a target plane so as to be fit in a range imaged possibly by an imaging means (300), additionally uses a plurality of target groups arranged respectively so that the distances from the imaging means to the target planes are different from each other, and derives the installation depression angle of the imaging means. The calibration method includes an intersection point for acquisition method for acquiring the location of an intersection point of the optical axis of the imaging means and the target plane, at least in one direction along the target plane and an installation depression angle acquisition method for acquiring the installation depression angle, based on the location of acquired the intersection point and the relative location of the target plane among a plurality of target groups.
