INSECT PEST REPELLENT FOR HUMAN BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid insect pest repellent for human bodies having not only high persistence of insect pest repellent effects or high safety for the human bodies but also excellent usability without any risk of inhaling a chemical during application. SOLUTION: The insect pest repellent for the human bodies is a solid composition composed of a soap paste of (a) an insect pest repellent ingredient and (b) a 2-6C alcohol and/or a 2-6C glycol dissolving the insect pest repellent, saponified with (c) two or more kinds selected from 10-22C fatty acids and an aqueous solution of an alkali. (c) The two or more kinds selected from the 10-22C fatty acids are one or two or more kinds selected from 10-18C fatty acids and one or two or more kinds selected from 19-22C fatty acids and more preferably a mixture of an 18C fatty acid with one or two kinds selected from 10-17C fatty acids and one or two kinds selected from the 19-22C fatty acids.
