PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire that improves bead-fitting property while suppressing the increases of cost and weight. SOLUTION: An under-core filler 40 having a hardness higher than the hardness of a rim cushion rubber 38 is provided between a bead core 31 and the rim cushion rubber 38 of the bead core. This structure can enhance the rigidity of a bead portion 30 so that a fitting force can be increased when a tire is assembled onto a rim wheel. The increase of this fitting force can improve the bead fitting property. Furthermore, the under-core filler 40 is formed with a rubber material, so that the increase of manufacturing cost can be suppressed. In addition, since the under-core filler 40 is formed with the rubber material, the increase of weight can be suppressed when the under-core filler 40 is provided.
