PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker array apparatus capable of outputting sound beams by speaker arrays having multiple speakers, and capable of easily and appropriately setting the output directions of sound beams related to height channels.SOLUTION: A speaker array apparatus 1 includes a system control section 10, height speaker arrays 30, and a microphone 40. A height sweep start angle AS and a height sweep range RS of a test sound beam to be output from each height speaker array 30 are set in accordance with a listening distance D between the speaker array apparatus 1 and the microphone 40. The speaker array apparatus 1 outputs the test sound beam by sweeping in accordance with the height sweep start angle AS and the height sweep range RS corresponding to the listening distance D, analyzing the sound data collected by the microphone 40, and then setting a height sound beam output angle AH of a height sound beam SH.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
