[Problem] To provide a heat exchange tube having a water drainage function facilitating the assembly of a heat exchanger, and also to provide a method for producing a heat exchange tube facilitating processing of the heat exchange tube. [Solution] A corrugated fin-type heat exchanger obtained by disposing in a horizontal direction, and between a pair of confronting header pipes (2a, 2b), a plurality of flat heat exchange tubes (3) that are parallel to one another, and joining between the heat exchange tubes (3) corrugated fins (4) in which mountain-and-valley folds are alternately and repeatedly molded, wherein the heat exchange tubes (3) are equipped with a flat tube body (3b) that has a flow passage for a heating medium, a pair of flanges extending at both ends in the width direction of the tube body, and cut-and-raised pieces (8a, 8b) obtained when the two flanges are cut and raised in an inclined shape and provided in a row at an appropriate interval along the longitudinal direction of the tube body. The two cut-and-raised pieces are given the same angle of incline &thetas;, and the directions of incline of the two cut-and-raised pieces are formed asymmetrically at the two ends in the width direction of the tube body. |
