The method involves recording a section of a polymer strand in a continuous manner by an optical recording unit. An image data is obtained for a pixel, and is compared with a nominal value. The nominal value is a setpoint value for a color value. The nominal value occurs for the color value by entering a value or by selecting a value based on multiple pre-defined color values. An independent claim is also included for an apparatus for optical quality control of extruded polymer strands used for producing polymer granules. |
