PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointing device which can be miniaturized and is excellent in shock resistance.SOLUTION: An operation cap 101 including an operation surface 101a is fitted into a stud 103. The stud is fixed to a keyboard plate 107 together with a sensor plate 117 from below by a screw 119. A waterproof material 105 is provided between the stud 103 and the keyboard plate 107. A plurality of pressure sensors 111a to 111d are arranged below the keyboard plate. Predetermined pre-pressure is applied to the pressure sensor. When the operation surface is pressed, the stud and the sensor plate are moved downward, while being slid and inclined, so that the detection pressure of the pressure sensor is decreased. Since the pressure sensor exists on the lower side of the keyboard plate, the operation cap can be miniaturized and the pressure sensor can be protected from a shock with respect to the operation cap.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
