<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood pressure measuring apparatus which can record the blood pressures (the systolic blood pressure and the diastolic blood pressure) without giving a feeling of stress to an examinee (a patient), hindering a sleep even at night, or receiving the influence of a situation of action (a posture), a position of the body and a noise due to an artifact or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The blood pressure measuring apparatus is to perform the blood pressure measurement by using a cuff attached to an appropriate position of an auricle, wherein a buffer tank is disposed between a pressure pump and the cuff, and a check valve and an orifice are arranged in parallel between the buffer tank and the cuff.
