<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device which is comprised of a means for preventing an ink feeding pipe extending from a recording carriage to an ink tank, from sagging and making contact with a member such as an encoder strip or a guide rail. <P>SOLUTION: A composite machine 1 as the image recording device is formed of the recording carriage 40, the ink feeding pipe 43, and a pipe support section 73. The recording carriage 40 has mounted thereon a recording head 41 for ejecting ink droplets, and functions to record an image on a recording medium by reciprocating in one direction. The ink feeding pipe 43 formed of a flexible material, is connected to a pipe connecting piece 71 of the recording carriage 40, and feeds ink from an ink tank 42 arranged separately from the recording carriage 40, to the recording carriage 40.
