<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate unnecessary data transfer and achieve DMA transfer of necessary display data to a display device displaying an electronic picture by the DMA transfer, and to shorten transfer time and to reduce wasteful power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The display device provided with a composite circuit generating a composite image signal from at least two types of different image signals or an imaging apparatus provided with the display device has a storage means storing display start position data of the image signal which partially displays the image on the display device among the image signals transmitted/received in the circuit, and a DMA interface control circuit requesting only the image signal of a display part on the basis of display start position data when requesting data of the image signal which partially displays the image by the DMA transfer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
