PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading device capable of preventing an image sensor from floating from a scanning base to be unstable during assembly.SOLUTION: An image reading device 2 includes: a flat tabular document mounting glass 43; an image sensor 48 that is arranged in a row in a main scanning direction Y along a bottom surface of the document mounting glass 43; a scanning base 71 that supports the image sensor 48; an urging member 90 that is attached to the scanning base 71, and urges the image sensor 48 in a direction toward the document mounting glass 43 (above a vertical direction Z); and a slide member 100 that is pressed by the image sensor 48 to contact the document mounting glass 43. The slide member 100 is attached to the scanning base 71 to hold the image sensor 48; and the image sensor 48 is regulated from moving in the direction toward the document mounting glass 43 by the slide member 100. |
