Provided are an airbag and an airbag device, in which the air bag can be expanded and deployed without relying on a windshield or windscreen, and the airbag can be made smaller, lower cost, and lighter weight. The following are provided: an airbag (1); an inflator (2); a retainer (3); and an airbag cover (4). The airbag (1) has the following: a partition wall (5) that partitions the interior of the airbag (1) into an anterior chamber (11) formed towards the front of a vehicle and a posterior chamber (12) formed towards the rear of the vehicle; and a communication hole (51) that is formed on the lower part of the partition wall (5) and through which a gas is blown so that the airbag (1) is pressed against the surface of a structural body of the vehicle. The upper end of the partition wall (5) is connected to the upper surface of the airbag (1) and the lower end of the partition wall is connected to the lower surface of the airbag (1). |
