REACTOR COOLANT SYSTEM DEPRESSURIZATION SYSTEM AND NUCLEAR POWER PLANT HAVING THE SAME

Disclosed are a reactor coolant system depressurization system and a nuclear power plant having the same. The reactor coolant system depressurization system comprises: a pressurizer which maintains a pressurized state of a reactor coolant system; a condensation heat exchanger which is a driven residual heat removal system which removes heat from the reactor coolant system and residual heat of a reactor core by heat exchange between types of fluid; and depressurization facilities formed to prevent overpressure of the reactor coolant system by using the condensation heat exchanger during an operation failure of the driven residual heat removal system. The depressurization facilities comprise: a depressurization pipe which is connected to the pressurizer and the condensation heat exchanger to provide vapor, discharged by the pressurizer, to the condensation heat exchanger; and an injection pipe which is connected to the condensation heat exchanger and the reactor coolant system to inject condensed water, generated by the condensation heat exchanger, into the reactor coolant system. The present invention is to provide the reactor coolant system depressurization system for preventing an increase of pressure in the reactor coolant system.
