<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a physical distribution management system and a physical distribution management method capable of measuring the state in every article, performing quick and certain countermeasure to abnormality during delivering and certainly and accurately recording management information in every article. <P>SOLUTION: A sensor tag (10) is provided with a temperature sensor; and a first transmitting/receiving antenna capable of long wave-transmitting ID information and the measurement value of the measured temperature and is packaged in every delivered article. A repeater unit (20) is provided with a second transmitting/receiving antenna capable of communicating with the first transmitting/receiving antenna; and a first specific small power radio part and is arranged in a space stored with the article.
