<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light emitting element and the manufacturing method thereof wherein its forward voltage can be reduced while improving the efficiency of its light being derived therewith. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor light emitting element has a substrate 1, a light emitter 2 disposed on a principal surface of the substrate 1, a first electrode 3 disposed on the light emitter 2, a pad electrode 9 disposed on the first electrode 3, and each conductive layer 11 for reflecting the light emitted from the light emitter 2 which is made of a conductive material and is disposed in each recessed portion 11a formed in at least a portion of the principal surface of the substrate 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
