<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus and a method of processing an image which can obtain an image excellent in graininess by little processing of computational quantity and to provide an image processing program and a recording medium which records its program. <P>SOLUTION: A halftone processing part 21 includes an attention cell setter 50 for setting an attention cell, a gray scale value total sum operation unit 51 which calculates the summation of the gray scale values of input image data in the attention cell, a cell centroid position operation unit 52 which calculates the cell centroid position of the attention cell, a dot centroid position operation unit 53 which calculates the dot centroid position of dot to form, a centroid deviation operation unit 54 which calculates the deviation of the cell centroid position and the dot centroid position, and a gray scale value grant unit 55 which gives the gray scale value to a pixel selected according to a deviation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
