摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress reduction in accuracy of determining an amount of deposited fuel.SOLUTION: A control device of an internal combustion engine for controlling the internal combustion engine which has a variable valve mechanism for changing a valve-opening/closing timing of an intake valve and a working angle, and a fuel injection valve for injecting fuel to an intake port comprises: a fuel deposition amount determining part which sets a reference value of the valve-opening timing and a reference value of the valve-closing timing of the intake valve, and determines an amount of fuel deposited on a wall face of the intake port and the intake valve on the basis of an amount of angular advance from the reference value of the valve-opening timing and an amount of angular delay from the reference value of the valve-closing timing; and a fuel injection amount correcting part which corrects an amount of fuel injection on the basis of the amount of deposited fuel. The fuel deposition amount determining part sets the reference value of the valve-opening timing at a top dead point, and when a current working angle is not less than a predetermined value, sets the valve-closing timing at which the amount of deposited fuel at a reference working angle with the valve-opening timing at the reference value equals to the amount of deposited fuel at the current working angle, to the reference value of the valve-closing timing at the current working angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
