OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM, INFORMATION RECORDING METHOD, INFORMATION REPRODUCING METHOD, AND INFORMATION RECORDING/REPRODUCING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical storage medium capable of performing a recording and reproducing correctly in a specific region with respect to an optical recording medium which performs the recording and reproducing of information by means of a holograph recording and reproducing process.

SOLUTION: The optical recording medium includes a hologram recording layer recorded with the information by using holography, a light shielding member fixed to at least one major face of the hologram recording layer, and a control electrode for controlling the light transmission state of the light shielding member. The light shielding member includes a plurality of pixels divided by each of recording unit regions and the light transmission state thereof can be controlled in a pixel unit.
