<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device and a recording method which can easily restrain irregular density. <P>SOLUTION: The recording device 10 has a recording head 20 where a plurality of droplet ejectors to discharge ink droplets are arranged, and a reaction liquid head 30 to discharge a reactive liquid to harden ink droplets discharged by the recording head 20 and is provided with a density sensor 40 to detect recording density as a physical quantity having a correlation with the temperature of the recording head 20, controls the discharge quantity of the reactive liquid discharged from the reaction liquid head 30 so as to restrain a density change caused by a temperature change of the recording head 20 in accordance with density detected by the density sensor 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
