<p>The equipment dispenses wine from a bottle using a propellant gas. The bottle reverts to atmospheric pressure as soon as empty, and a single gas bottle can be used to empty several wine bottles. The propellant gas insulates the liquid from the air. A box (C) containing a gas bottle (A) with a valve (E), has a fitting (N) forming a seal in the bottle neck (R). When the box is depressed by hand pressure, it is moved against the fitting to form a sealed joint, and a spring (I) is compressed, opening the valve. This subjects the liquid (P) in the bottle to gas pressure, and forces it out through a pouring tube (O) passing through the fitting and down to the bottle base. Release of hand pressure shuts the valve and breaks the seal, thus bringing the internal bottle pressure back to atmospheric again.</p> |
