<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which facilitates removal of a paper sheet jammed at a paper reversing discharge passage. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus 10, for a toner image after an image forming process in an image forming part 13, one of mutually facing wall surfaces (wall surface 201) of the reverse conveyance passage R3 for reversing the front and the back of a paper sheet P for which a fixing process is performed is formed on an opening/closing door 20 rotatably provided to the apparatus main body 11. An opening/closing door support structure is provided for rotatably supporting the opening/closing door 20 at a rotational fulcrum position (axial center position of a rotational shaft main body 40) of the opening/closing door 20. The opening/closing door support structure, in which a prescribed width dimension of the reverse conveyance passage R3 is secured in the state in which the opening/closing door 20 is shut, travels to the direction to be separated from the reverse conveyance passage R3 by opening the opening/closing door 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
