<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic method of such high durability and high stability that the density stability between images in the case of outputting a plurality of sheets is excellent and the state thereof is maintained for a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: The electrophotographic method of forming the image by subjecting a photoreceptor having a photoconductive layer composed of a non-single crystalline film consisting of silicon atoms as a base material to at least an electrostatic charging process and an image exposure process is characterized in that the peak wavelength of the light used in the image exposure process is ≥350 to ≤450 mm, the irradiation spot diameter on the photoreceptor surface (the diameter of the amount of the light which is 1/e<SP>2</SP>of the peak amount of the light) is ≥5 to ≤30 μm, the film thickness of the photoconductive layer is ≥5 to ≤20 μm, and the difference between the dark part potential and bright part potential of the photoreceptor is ≥100 to ≤300 V. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
