PURPOSE:To allow recording with small energy and to provide the optical recording medium having stability with lapse of time. CONSTITUTION:This recording medium has a thin film 4 contg. 1 to 10wt.% inert gas and a reflection layer 3 in contact therewith. The reflection layer 3 and the thin film 4 are peeled from each other in the part irradiated with a laser if recording is executed by irradiation with the laser. This peeling is detected as a change in reflectivity by reproducing light, by which the reproduction of information is executed. |
