METHOD FOR COMPENSATION OF LINEAR DISTORTION OF HORIZONTAL SCANNING IN MONITOR AND ITS COMPENSATING COIL

PURPOSE: To obtain a linear distortion compensation menthol for a horizontal scanning circuit in a monitor by which distortion of horizontal lines on the multiple scanning monitor is compensated at a low cost and its compensation coil. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic adjustment coil (2nd electromagnet B coil) is interposed to a magnetic circuit 10 of a horizontal linear coil C in the electromagnetic CTR horizontal deflection system of a monitor. A magnetic strength fed to the horizontal linear coil C is controlled variably and an inductance/current function curve of the horizontal linear coil C is adjusted so as to compensate linear distortion of horizontal scanning lines operating in a different horizontal frequency.
