发明名称 BINDER RESIN FOR OFFSET PRINTING INK
摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To obtain a binder resin useful for self-gellable offset printing ink rich in elasticity, well-balanced between luster and setting and good in dryability, by introducing amido structure into the residual carboxyl group in a specific rosin-modified phenolic resin. CONSTITUTION: This binder resin is obtained by amidation, with (E) an amine or polyamide, the residual carboxyl groups in a rosin-modified phenolic resin prepared by esterification between (A) a rosin, (B) a dibasic acid (anhydride), (C) a resol-modified (following novolak modification) phenolic resin and (D) a polyhydric alcohol. It is preferable that the amount of the component C to be used be 50-150 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the component A, the component D<=1.5 molar equivalents based on the carboxyl in the component A, and the component E 0.1-1.0 molar equivalent based on the residual carboxyl, group. The above esterification is pref. carried out until the acid value of the phenolic resin comes to <=60 and the above amidation to <=25.</p>
