PURPOSE:To contrive the prevention of contamination by toner splashing, the prevention of the degradation in developability, the decrease of fogging and the improvement in image quality by constituting the above developer of the toner contg. magnetic material particles and the condensed polyester resin of tervalent and higher valency monomers, arom. carboxylic acid and aliphat. dialcohol as a binder and a carrier. CONSTITUTION:This developer has the toner contg. the magnetic material particles and the condensed polyester resin of the tervalent and higher valency monomers, the arom. carboxylic acid and the aliphat. dialcohol as the binder and the carrier. The bulk density is, therefore, increased and the flowability is improved. The magnetic material particles are thus easily kneaded into the binder at the time of melting and kneading the magnetic material particles with the binder. Since the kneaded matter uniformly dispersed with the magnetic material particles is thereby formed, the toner obtd. by grinding and classifying the kneaded matter has the magnetic material particles present uniformly on the surface thereof. The generation of the reverse electrostatically charged toner is prevented and the degradation in the electrostatic charge quantity does not arise at the time of the triboelectrostatic charge with the carrier. The prevention of the contamination by the toner splashing, the prevention of the degradation in the developability, and the decrease of the fogging and the improvement in the image quality are contrived in this way. |
