PURPOSE: To make the recognition of the shape of a core of a bar provided with the core in a part fit hitting a ball of the main body of the bat easier and stimulate user's desire to buy one by forming a transparent part through which the users can see the core from the outside. CONSTITUTION: A metal bat contains a hard and impact-resistant polycarbonate core 2 in a part A fit for hitting a ball of the main body 1 of a hollow aluminum alloy bat. A plug 3 which is molded with a transparent such as polyurethane is fitted and fastened to the opening 1A in the head side of the bat 1, the exposed part 3a of the plug 3 forms a transparent part B through which one can see the core 2. The core 2 is formed integrally with a cylindrical shaft 2A, multiple plates 2B which are extended radially from the outside periphery of the cylindrical shaft 2A and arch plates 2C which are pressure welded to the inside periphery of the main body 1 of the bat which is connected to each of the heads of the plates 2B. |
