PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate the reaction meeting the operation of a virtual object with simple constitution (structure and mechanism). SOLUTION: This device includes a small-sized display 1 and a manipulator 3. This manipulator 3 includes active turning shafts 3a, 3b, 3c. These active turning shafts 3a, 3b, 3c consist of ultrasonic motors and the reaction is generated by the same. To make operation with the virtual object, an operator projects the virtual object on the small-sized display 1. The operator, then, rotates and parallel moves this small-sized display 1. The virtual object displayed on the small-sized display 1 is rotated or moved according to such parallel movement and rotation of the small-sized display 1. The reaction is thus generated by the simple constitution (structure and mechanism) and the operator making the operation to the virtual object is able to feel the weight as if the operator holds the object in actuality. |
