A branch connection (12) extends from the drilling connection (11) and may take away material after drilling. A cutting bush (20) in the drilling connection is capable of both rotary and axial movement. The cutting bush produces a valve sealing point with the pipe connection when it is in its pushed-out position, thereby cutting off a medium flow to the branch connection. For formation of the valve sealing point, the cutting bush supports a valve sealing ring which is movable in conjunction with the rotary and axial movement. The drill connection in an end zone (34) of the casing (30) has a hollow cylindrical end section comprising an area (34) of the casing (30), over which a plastics skin is drawn.
