摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture magnet powder which has satisfactory reproducibility and is suitable for effective manufacturing. SOLUTION: In a material alloy for a nano-composite magnet, general formula is represented by Fe100-x-yRxBy or Fe100-x-y-zRxByCoz, Fe100-x-y-uRxByBu or Fe100-x-y-z-uRxByCozMu, where R is a rare metal element wherein at least 90 at% of one element from among Pr and Nd or both of the elements are contained, and remainder contains greater than or equal to 0% and smaller than 10% of other lanthanum series element or at least one kind of element of Y. M is at least one kind of element selected from among a group constituted of Al, Si, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Ni, Cu, Ca, Zr, Nb, Mo, Hf, Ta, W, Pt, Pb, Au and Ag. Composition ratios x, y, z and u satisfy 2<=x<=6, 16<=y<=20, 0.2<=z<=7 and 0.01<=u<=7. This material alloy for a nano- composite magnet is manufactured. In this case, a process, wherein molten metal of the material alloy is quenched and coagulated in a reduced pressure atmosphere by a single-roll method, is included. In this process, quenching and coagulation of the material alloy are performed in the reduced pressure atmosphere, so that quenched and coagulated alloy in a state of metal glass is formed.
