PACKAGING LAMINATE HAVING GAS AND FLOVOR BARRIER PROPERTIES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging laminated material capable of being easily molded into a package and having a barrier layer resisting craking and separation. SOLUTION: A packaging laminate 10 is obtained by coating both surfaces a substrate film 15 having a core layer such as cardboard or the like with carbon-containing silicon oxide coating layers 16, 17. A plasma intensified chemical deposition method is used in coating treatment and coating treatment due to vapor deposition is performed while the substrate film is pulled. By this constitution, an extremely thin carbon-containing silicon oxide coating layer having excellent durability and excellent oxygen/flavor barrier properties can be obtained. Carbon-containing silicon oxide has general formula SiOxCy (wherein x is 1.5-2.2 and y is 0.15-0.80).
