DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD OF BI-DIRECTIONAL COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A data transmission method of a bi-directional communication system is provided to improve a communication speed by transmitting data a falling edge time and a rising edge time when transmitting data from a host computer to a peripheral device based on an IEEE 1284 mode and an ECP protocol. CONSTITUTION: A print instruction is provided to a host computer by a key input of a user(S10). The host computer judges whether a printing data exists(S20). A memory unit reads the printing data when the printing data exists(S30). The host computer locates data to be transmitted on a data line and detects a falling edge and a rising edge of a host clock for transmitting data(S40). The host computer transmits data to a peripheral device when the falling edge and the rising edge are occurred(S50).
