<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery holding a conductive network in accordance with the volume change of an active material while conductivity is provided to a negative active material layer, and having high capacity and long life. <P>SOLUTION: A negative electrode for the lithium secondary battery uses material electrochemically storing/releasing lithium as an active material, and comprises: a first layer 2 mainly comprising the active material formed on a current collector 1; a second layer 3 mainly comprising a conductive material formed on the first layer; and a third layer 4 mainly comprising the active material formed on the second layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
