PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the hydration reaction of cement with water from being obstructed by a gas phase generated in heated curing water in the case of curing a cement based formed article. SOLUTION: The cement formed article A is arranged in a pressure vessel 1 capable of being tightly closed so that the whole of the cement formed article is dipped in the curing water 10. Pressurized water 11, steam 12 and air is forcibly charged into the pressure vessel 1 to increase the pressure equal to or above the saturated steam pressure and the curing water is heated to increase the temperature. As a result, the hydration reaction of the cement components in the formed article A is not obstructed because the gas phase is not vigorously formed from the curing water 10.
