摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal printer which can executing a printing with a good electric power efficiency while the printing with a high quality is performed by intermittently applying a pulse for energizing electricity in the whole range or a part range of the electricity energizing time to a plurality of heat emitting elements equipped in a row on a printing head, a method for controlling energizing electricity and a program. SOLUTION: In the whole range or a part range of the electricity energizing time, when the temperature of the heat emitting body 22 exceeds T, chopping of the pulse for energizing electricity is executed by an optimum chopping interval tc, and excess energy caused by increase in temperature of the heat emitting body 22 is reduced.
