PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trunk-reaping machine equipped with a function for adjusting the cutting position of the trunk T in accordance with the height of the trunk T. SOLUTION: This trunk-reaping machine is provided by installing a multiple number of nipping conveyers 5 to 7 in vertical direction for nipping the upper part of the trunk T of a plant planted on a field and conveying it from the front part to rear part, cutting the lower part of the trunk T by a first cutting blade 8 installed in the lower direction of front end part of the nipping conveyer 7 and also cutting the middle part of the trunk T by a second cutting blade 22 at the middle part of the nipping conveyer 6. A groove Tb is formed by incising the trunk T of the plant after the cutting with a groove-cutting blade 21 arranged at the upper directional rear side of the cutting blade 22. The nipping conveyers 5, 6, cutting blade 22 and groove cutting blade 21 are constituted as vertical position adjustable based on a machine body 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
